    Lifestyle

Bathed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea, Estepona enjoys a privileged location on the Costa del Sol in Andalusia. It’s a place that enchants its visitors with its unique charm and a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.

The renovated old town, considered one of the most beautiful in Andalusia, offers tourists the opportunity to immerse themselves in an authentic urban garden, known as “The Garden of the Costa del Sol”.

Located on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga, Estepona is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the area. Its unique charm and appeal lie in its contrasting character. Two opposing sides coexist and intertwine: the fishing heritage and tradition on one hand, and the luxury of exclusive residential complexes and developments on the other. A splendid climate, long beaches lapped by the Alboran Sea, and wonderful coastal paths and trails await.

    Mediterranean authenticity

Estepona enjoys a Mediterranean climate with an average annual temperature of 19.2°C, ranging from 12°C to 28°C. The high number of sunshine hours, with a historical average of 3,848 hours per year, defines the quality of life. The swimming season comfortably extends for five months, with water temperatures exceeding 20°C. The town’s altitude, 15 meters above sea level, and a gentle slope (1.9%) towards the beach, create a pleasant and accessible environment, seamlessly integrated into the Sierra Bermeja landscape.

    Distances

Beaches like La Rada are 0.8 km away and Playa de la Galera is 1.6 km away. There are several golf courses nearby, including Golf Academy Albayt Resort (289 m) and Finca Cortesín Golf Club (1.7 km). Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is approximately 64 km away. Public transport has 8 lines and 50 stops in the area. The road network allows for convenient vehicular access, although the proximity to a motorway should be considered due to potential noise. Buying a home that is not located right in the center of town is ideal.
